For the last 10 years, the Civic Theatre in Oswaldtwistle has been our home. We've had some great times in this venue, but owing to circumstances beyond our control, we have had to say goodbye. 

We now rehearse at St Christopher's Sixth Form College, Accrington, which is proving ideal for us. It's a modern, bright building with a lift and lots of car parking space. We play in the lecture theatre - a large room with brilliant acoustics so we're very lucky.

This month is always a little bit special for the band as it's when we look forward to playing a 'Last Night of the the Proms' style event in the magical grounds of Hollowforth Hall near Preston. 

It's a big concert for many reasons and we do a lot of preparation for it. We'll set up in the morning and return early evening to do the final preparations. Not only is it a fabulous evening, it's also for a good cause, as we're supporting the Rotary Club and a number of their local charities.
